Michael Brown - Owner/Fitness Coach

Michael Brown is the owner and head trainer of 605 Grit Fitness. With nearly 15 years in the fitness industry, and Personal Training full time for over 7 years, Michael has the experience to support his knowledge of fitness.

Michael became co-owner of Hurricane Fitness is 2012. In 2019, Michael Brown took over full ownership and rebranded to 605 Grit Fitness. With the goal to create an environment where someone could come into a gym, and find a passion in fitness through any avenue.

Michael is ISSA certified and a Strength and conditioning coach, an Exercise Therapist, and a Spartan SGX certified coach. He specializes in fat loss, strength coaching, post injury exercise rehab, and Obstacle Race prep.

Michaels personal accomplishments include: 2016 Deadwoods Strongest Man, 2018 Spartan National Qualifier, 2nd place Black Hills Strongman competitor, 2021, 2019, 2018, 2017 Spartan Trifecta completion. As well as several Tough Mudders throughout the country,

Samuel Miller - Fitness Coach

Samuel uprooted unhealthy old habits seven years ago and became passionate about wellness, looking forward ever since. His mindset, earned through his transformation from obesity to a healthy lifestyle, gave him experience and a passion to learn all he could to help others reach their goals.

Samuel is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and specializes in weight loss and nutrition and program development

Rock Hayford - Fitness Coach

Rock is a certified ISSA Personal Trainer. He has an extensive athletic background including collegiate Track and Field, as well as powerlifting experience. Rock specializes in Athletic Training but will help you achieve any fitness goal whatever it may be.

 
 

Will Hayford - Fitness & Nutrition Coach

Will is an ISSA certified trainer and Certified fitness nutrition coach. Will also boasts titles in the state and national level for powerlifting and National Champion powerlifter elite titles in 2 weight classes.

Ela Roes- Fitness Coach/ Nutrition Coach/ Bikini Competitor Coach

Coach Ela found her passion for fitness in her twenties after her career as a ballet and modern dancer came to a close. Working closely with Coach Mike for more than a decade as a client fueled her fire to become more than just a casual fitness enthusiast. Through his mentorship and guidance, Ela became a NASM Certified Professional Trainer in 2020, and a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach in 2022. Throughout her journey Ela has competed in physique sports as an NPC Bikini Athlete, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals in various classes. She took an Open Class win in the 2023 season. Further, she’s qualified to walk on the NPC National stage. Ela’s passion to work with women, the LGBTQIA+ community, and physique athletes runs deep. She celebrates and supports her clients in every stage of their journey, giving unconditional support, mixed with a little tough love. She will meet you where you are at, but will hold you accountable if you’re not giving it your all. You can catch her in a coffee shop with an oat milk latte, the gym, or with her nose in a book…or in the gym with a book drinking coffee! (Reading on the treadmill is her self-proclaimed superpower). Izzi Arguello- Fitness Coach/ Nutrition Coach

Izzi Arguello - Fitness & Nutrition Coach Izzi is a NASM certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. She has an athletic background of gymnastics, competitive cheer, and track. She found her passion for coaching once those sports came to a close, and she got into strength training. Izzi is also an NPC wellness competitor, and through that has learned she wants to help other women heal their relationship with food and exercise, and learn how to love their body in all stages. She is still here to support anyone, whether you are looking for success in your weight loss, muscle building, or just improving your overall fitness!
