Michael Brown - Owner/ Head Trainer
Michael Brown is the owner and head trainer of 605 Grit Fitness. With nearly 15 years in the fitness industry, and Personal Training full time for over 10 years, Michael has the experience to support his knowledge of fitness.
Michael became co-owner of Hurricane Fitness is 2012. In 2019, Michael Brown took over full ownership and rebranded to 605 Grit Fitness. With the goal to create a welcoming environment where anyone could come into this gym, and find a passion in fitness through any avenue.
Michael is ISSA certified and a Strength and Conditioning coach, an Exercise Therapist, and a Spartan SGX certified coach. He specializes in fat loss, strength coaching, post injury exercise rehab, and Obstacle Race prep.
Izzi Arguello- Manager/ NASM Personal Trainer/ Nutrition Coach/ Bodybuilding Coach
Coach Izzi is a NASM certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. She has an athletic background of gymnastics, competitive cheer, and track. She found her passion for coaching once those sports came to a close, and she got into strength training. Izzi is also an NPC wellness competitor, and through that has learned she wants to help other women heal their relationship with food and exercise, and learn how to love their body in all stages. She is still here to support anyone, whether you are looking for success in your weight loss, muscle building, or just improving your overall fitness!
AJ Peterson - Personal Trainer
AJ has recently acquired her certification in Personal Training from ISSA, and is in the process of receiving her Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning Certification. Her specialty will be in Pilates. AJ has found her love for fitness while playing many high school sports including Soccer and Track, as well as participating in Cheer. She has done several Spartan races around the country as well. She loves the outdoors, traveling, and loves the arts. Her desire is to help people feel comfortable in the gym, and to show them that fitness can be fun and not as intimidating as it seems!
Will Hayford- Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach
Will is an ISSA certified trainer and Certified fitness nutrition coach. His specialty is in Strength training, as well as body transformation training. Will also boasts titles in the state and national level for powerlifting and National Champion powerlifter elite titles in 2 weight classes.
Damon LaCroix-
NASM Personal Trainer
Damon became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM in 2025. While he may be new to the personal training scene, his faith in God brings a deep passion for fitness stemming from early days of weight lifting class in high school, which blossomed into multiple Spartan Race competitions, and most recently a passion for Strongman. He plans to compete in a few novice Strongman competitions in 2026.
Damon’s other passions include graphic design, video games, and heavy rock music. Damon loves helping people learn how to use gym equipment and lift with proper form to avoid injuries. His no pressure approach can help people feel welcome and motivated to achieve their fitness goals. Reach out to Damon today!
Samuel Miller - NASM Personal Trainer
Samuel uprooted unhealthy old habits seven years ago and became passionate about wellness, looking forward ever since. His mindset, earned through his transformation from obesity to a healthy lifestyle, gave him experience and a passion to learn all he could to help others reach their goals.
Samuel is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and specializes in weight loss and nutrition and program development
Ruby Adams-
NASM Personal Trainer
Ruby is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition coach with a speciality in helping women put themselves first again. Her training style combines yoga-based principles with strength training, laying a solid foundation for the body to thrive. She began strength training in high school after years of struggling with body dysmorphia and an exhausting relationship with food. The gym became a space not to change but to grow. She believes that strength training is a form of meditation that blends body, breath, and mind to create something new.
With a passion for philosophy, pottery, yoga, and anything outdoors, she focuses on finding the line between comfort and challenge. Her mission is to empower women to love their bodies and minds, by developing strength in every aspect of life!
Isaac Langi-
NASM Personal Trainer/ Youth & Adult Athletic Coach
Isaac earned his master’s degree in Human Movement Science from Concordia University of Chicago and his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Black Hills State University. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Isaac was a multi-sport athlete in high school, competing in football, basketball, and track. He earned a track scholarship to run hurdles at Black Hills State University. Since graduating from BHSU in 2019, he has worked with over a hundred athletes and helped them earn hundreds of thousands of dollars in athletic scholarship funding.
Isaac has worked with an Olympic Trials athlete, a professional baseball athlete, and many other athletes across several sports. He has also worked with personal training clients ranging in age from 10 to 80 years old.
Isaac meets clients where they are, while pushing them to reach their fitness goals.
